Earlier this year, ten CATS Boston Scholars visited Brown University as part of our unique Scholars’ Program.
With many CATS Boston students aspiring to attend Brown University, the trip was a fantastic opportunity for them to explore the campus, facilities and absorb the rich history of this leading and prestigious university.
Taking advantage of a pleasant afternoon, students toured the campus, visiting the famous Rhode Island School of Design, Rockefeller Library, the historic quads and sought out Brown’s Bear statue outside the athletic complex.

The students then had the privilege of attending a basketball game between Brown and Columbia Universities. The game was thoroughly enjoyed by all and provided the opportunity for our CATS Boston students to sit alongside Brown fans, taking in the atmosphere, listening to the Brown band perform and watching a display from Brown Robotics.

Recent CATS Boston graduate, Karolina from Ukraine, progressed to Brown University, commencing her studies in September 2023. During her time at CATS Boston she was a prominent member of the Scholars Program and took advantage of the many trips and opportunities it provided her. Speaking on her experience, Karolina said “I wanted to attend an Ivy league school and CATS Academy Boston has made it possible. The environment at CATS Boston has provided me with an opportunity to excel. The Scholars’ Program is an opportunity for students who take academics very seriously to keep the pursuit of knowledge outside of the classroom. I would recommend the program as it would portray you as an amazing student.”
