Challenge Yourself Out On The Field

CATS Academy Boston’s Athletics department provides an exciting experience for all students that attend the school. Our aim is to give students the opportunity to be active, express themselves outside of the classroom and compete in interscholastic competition with schools around the New England region.

Athletics at CATS Boston will help keep you active and healthy while enhancing your leadership and team building skills. Our athletics department prides itself on working to achieve the total development of each student-athlete. With an emphasis on sportsmanship, trust, discipline,  teamwork and respect for others, we work to promote the best environment for our student-athletes to take risks and develop their skills and personal values.

Athletics Facilities

CATS Boston has its own onsite gymnasium and fitness centre, which serve as the main facilities for all indoor athletics, including basketball, handball, futsal and cheerleading. It also has a multipurpose field on campus, used for soccer, ultimate frisbee and other athletics events throughout the course of the school year.

In 2024, we opened our brand new weights room complete with first-class equipment. This space gives our student-athletes a place to work on their strength and conditioning, while other students can improve their fitness, staying happy and healthy.

Compete Against Other Schools

Our Athletics department has worked to develop a program that offers our students the opportunity to compete in interscholastic competitions. As a full member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), CATS Academy Boston competes within multiple leagues including the Girls Independent League (GIL) and the Southeastern New England Independent School Athletic Association (SENE). Competing within the GIL and SENE provides our students with the opportunity to travel and compete around the New England region, including in Boston, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Western Massachusetts and New Hampshire. 

Our Athletics Academies

For those student-athletes who excel in Basketball or Hockey, you will have the opportunity to join one of our Academies. These offer the perfect blend of a high-end academic and cultural experience with elite training.
