Happy New Year! I hope you all had a restful break and are ready for the adventures that await in the new year. Reflecting on 2023, I am pleased by how our diverse community has shone through various academic, athletics and arts events. Our campus is always a hub of activity.
Looking ahead to 2024, CATS Academy Boston is primed for excitement and achievement on campus.
Basketball season is just starting with the boys’ and girls’ teams prepping for their games. On campus, the Faculty v Students game rivalry will soon heat up again. Can Coach Cary lead the Faculty Team to victory again in 2024?
Our Hockey Academy has also begun the second half of their season traveling to New York and Michigan with games in between at home. We look forward to a successful end of the season.
Spring Semester also sees the return of CATS Cafe with the first event on January 19th. CATS Cafe is a fantastic opportunity for students to share their creative talents outside of formal performances. There will also be various musical, dance and theatre performances in April and May to finish the academic year on a creative high.
Our extracurricular clubs, such as Robotics Club and Model United Nations, offer opportunities to participate in academic themed workshops, challenges and competitions. Such experiences can strengthen college applications. I strongly encourage every student to explore the clubs this year and potential opportunities that reflect their passions, interests and talents.
