CATS Academy Boston is excited to announce an acceptance to Berklee College of Music for Fall 2024.
Talented musician, Jonathan joined CATS Boston in the 11th grade, having previously attended CATS China. He has undertaken many CSVPA music courses at both CATS China and CATS Boston, including Music Theory, Song Writing and Composition.
Jonathan will now join Berklee’s Class of 2028 with plans to pursue a major in Music Production and Music Business/Management.
Berklee College of Music is consistently ranked as a top 5 destination to study music in the US*. Uniquely, Berklee focuses on contemporary music, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in performance, music production and technology and music education. The college also boasts 332 Grammy awards, shared by some 141 alumni.
Patrick Dalton, a CATS Academy Boston Music Teacher and Berklee College of Music alumni, has closely collaborated with Jonathan throughout his time at the school.

Jonathan is an active member of CATS Boston’s creative community as a member of CATS Band Club, Rock Band Club and musician for the CATS school musical. He has also served as leader of the Acoustic Band and coordinator of CATS Cafe. Beyond music, Jonathan has served as a Dorm Prefect and member of the Junior Varsity Basketball Team.
Demonstrating his interest in business, Jonathan has completed an internship with PWC. He has also completed music related internships.
