CATS Academy Boston is excited to announce that one of our students has been accepted to the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD).
Talented artist Sammy joined CATS Academy Boston in the ninth grade. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength as he has undertaken a wide variety of arts electives, including Fashion, Photography, Printmaking, and Portfolio Development – all contributing to his acceptance to his first-choice college.
SCAD is one of the top art colleges in the U.S and is currently ranked number 15 in the world for its art and design courses*. Offering more degree programs and specializations than any other art and design university in the U.S, SCAD prides itself on preparing talented students for professional, creative careers.
As well as being accepted to SCAD, Sammy also received acceptances to School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Otis College of Art & Design, Ringling College of Art & Design and Pace University.

Thanks to the College Counselors here, I was introduced (and admitted!) to Savannah College of Art & Design in Georgia. Navigating the whole college process was made so much easier with the assistance from the staff and faculty. Additionally, being a part of CSVPA has opened my eyes and allowed me to test the waters in a number of different artistic mediums from photography and printmaking to musical theatre and rock ensemble.
A big thank you to everyone at CATS Academy who has helped me to get to where I am today.”
