Uljad Berdica, a 2018 CATS Academy Boston graduate has been named a 2022 Rhodes Scholar to study for a PhD in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford.
After graduating from CATS Academy Boston, Uljad studied at New York University (NYU) where he majored in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Applied Mathematics. During his time as an undergraduate, Uljad published in prestigious Robotics conferences and Electronics journals and completed his senior project on Hardware Cybersecurity Attacks.
His time at CATS Academy enabled him to undertake challenging projects in Applied Mathematics and Open Source Robotics which influenced his future research directions. CATS Boston continues to provide an ideal environment to pursue a vast array of academic interests and gain admission to the best institutions of higher education.
